Here’s How Much The Golden “Trump Card” Has Already Brought In So Far!

In stark contrast to leftist policies that reward illegal immigration, President Donald Trump’s second term introduced a unique twist on legal immigration aimed at directly benefiting the U.S. economy.

By selling so-called immigration “gold cards” for a whopping $5 million each, the White House expects to welcome wealthy immigrants to the U.S. in large numbers.

And Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick recently revealed that 1,000 of the cards were already spoken for just a week after the program began:

Here’s a full transcript of the post above:

NEW: Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick says he sold 1000 immigration Gold Cards (priced at $5M each) in one day this week.

The development means $5 Billion was made to help pay off the national debt.

“There are 37,000,000 people in the world who are capable of buying the card… The president thinks we can sell a million.”

Lutnick says Trump got the idea to sell a Gold Card during a meeting he had with investor John Paulson.

Fox News recently outlined some of the potential benefits of this unique spin on immigration:

At its core, EB-5 is simple: Foreign investors put money into U.S. businesses, and in return, they get a chance to apply for a green card. But to qualify, their investment must create at least 10 full-time American jobs. That means the EB-5 program doesn’t just fund big projects—it also provides real jobs for everyday people in industries like construction, healthcare, and hospitality.

And now, with talk of a potential “Gold Card,” a program for ultra-wealthy investors, even more private money could flow into the U.S. economy, helping pay off national debt and fueling job growth. When speaking about the Gold Card, Trump said it “will allow the most successful job-creating people from all over the world to buy a path to U.S. citizenship.”

A key advantage of the Gold Card would be that it would not impose global taxation, which is a significant deterrent for the wealthiest investors under EB-5. Many ultra-wealthy individuals send their children to the U.S. but avoid moving themselves due to tax concerns. By offering residency without taxing worldwide income, the Gold Card could unlock billions in foreign investment while allowing EB-5 to remain focused on job creation. These programs would diversify investment, strengthen infrastructure, and drive U.S. economic growth.

Plenty of other social media commentators have weighed in with support of the program:

In its entirety, the post above states:

Seriously, people, we just had an invasion of 20+ million poor, uneducated, unvetted, oftentimes, criminal illegals.

And your response to the Trump gold cards where he wants to bring in highly educated, wealthy, law-abiding legal immigrants to counter the left’s new voters, help pay down the debt and balance the budget, and who will create new jobs and businesses is that it’s a bad idea?

We killed an entire generation with abortion. Our country would, without abortion, have 60+ million more people today than it has.

We aren’t overpopulated. We will always be a magnet for the rest of the world to aspire to. If we can change the rules of the game from poor people living off our teat to wealthy people growing the pie, the sky is the limit. Assimilation will solve a lot of problems with immigration. Wealth and education will solve more. Changing thoughts about abortion will decrease the need for immigration.

Here’s how Trump presented the idea to the American people last month, per the New York Post:

“It’s somewhat like a green card, but at a higher level of sophistication. It’s a road to citizenship for people, and essentially people of wealth or people of great talent,” Trump said in the Oval Office.

“We’re going to be putting a price on that card of about $5 million and that’s going to give you green card privileges-plus,” the president added as he rolled out the plan to a group of journalists.

“They’ll be wealthy and they’ll be successful, and they’ll be spending a lot of money and paying a lot of taxes and employing a lot of people.”

Trump claimed that the initiative had been approved by administration lawyers and will launch in roughly “two weeks.”
