President Donald Trump took aim at former President Joe Biden on Sunday, posting images on Truth Social that highlighted allegations about Biden’s use of an autopen during his presidency.
The provocative post featured three side-by-side images: Trump’s official portrait from his first term, a picture of Biden’s alleged autopen signature device, and Trump’s official portrait from his current second term.
“The person who was the real President during the Biden years was the person who controlled the Autopen!” Trump wrote in a follow-up post on his account, which he then pinned to his profile.

The social media post follows comments Trump made from the Oval Office on Friday during a discussion about NATO spending.
“The man was grossly incompetent. All you have to do is take a look, he signs by autopen. Who was signing all this stuff by autopen? Who would think to sign important documents by autopen?” Trump asked reporters, Fox News reported.
“These are major documents you’re signing, you’re proud to sign, yet you have your signature on something and in 300 years, they say ‘oh look.’ Can you imagine everything was signing by autopen? Almost everything. Nobody has ever heard of such a thing. It should have never happened,” Trump continued.
The posts quickly generated significant reaction online, with many Trump supporters rallying behind the message.
Critics of the previous administration have accused Democrats of concealing Biden’s health concerns and engaging in a cover-up during the final months of his presidency.
“President Trump JUST POSTED the AUTOPEN that ran the White House from 2021-2025 next to his portraits,” one X user commented, according to Fox.
Missouri Lieutenant Governor David Wasinger added, “Corrupt establishment was running the country from 2021-2025. Who controlled the auto pen for Biden?”

The controversy gained momentum following a recent report by the Oversight Project, an initiative within the conservative Heritage Foundation.
The group claims to have found evidence that the majority of official documents signed by Biden used the same autopen signature, raising questions about the former president’s mental acuity and whether he personally authorized important legal documents.
“WHOEVER CONTROLLED THE AUTOPEN CONTROLLED THE PRESIDENCY,” the Oversight Project posted on X, accompanied by photo examples purporting to show Biden’s signature on various documents.

We analyzed Biden's Jan. 19, 2025 "pardons" for:
-Biden Family Members
-Anthony Fauci
-General Milley
-J6 Committee
-Gerald Lundergan

The group shared three examples of Biden’s signature, including two executive orders and his announcement withdrawing from the 2024 presidential race. According to their analysis, the signatures on the executive orders from 2022 and 2024 appeared identical, featuring what looked like a line followed by “R. Biden Jr.”
Fox News reportedly reached out to Biden’s team for comment on both Trump’s post and the Oversight Project’s findings but did not receive a response.
The report also noted that Fox News examined signatures on President Trump’s executive orders from both his first and current administrations and found them to be consistent as well, though many of Trump’s document signings occurred in public or in front of media.
The Oversight Project has called for investigators to determine “who controlled the autopen” during the Biden administration.
The use of autopens in government is not new, with previous administrations employing the technology for certain documents. However, the scope and frequency of such usage typically remains limited to routine correspondence rather than significant executive actions.
