Bondi Reveals Epstein Files Development After Conservative Outrage

Bondi Reveals FBI has Delivered ‘Truckload’ of Epstein Files After DOJ’s Botched Release Last Week, AG’s Hard Deadline

U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi confirmed that the Department of Justice has received a large collection of files from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) related to Jeffrey Epstein.

The delivery follows a lackluster document release last week, which TTOA reported failed to meet public expectations.

During a Tuesday night appearance on Fox News with Sean Hannity, Bondi shared that the FBI had delivered “thousands of pages” of Epstein-related documents after she personally set a deadline for their release.

The FBI complied with her directive and provided the files by 8 a.m. on Friday morning.

“I gave [the FBI] a deadline of Friday at 8 a.m. to get us everything,” Bondi explained.

“And a source had told me where the documents were being kept, Southern District of New York, shock. So we got them all by Friday at 8 a.m.”

Describing the documents as “a truckload of evidence,” Bondi noted that the FBI is currently in the process of reviewing the material.

She also emphasized to Fox News that a detailed report on why the FBI had initially withheld these documents is forthcoming.

“I have the FBI going through them…and Director Patel is going to get us a detailed report as to why the FBI withheld all of those documents,” she said.

Bondi made it clear that the review of these files would be thorough but cautious, particularly to protect the victims involved.

“We’re going to go through it, go through it as fast as we can, but go through it very cautiously to protect all the victims of Epstein,” she explained.

The attorney general also pointed to the Biden administration’s handling of the files, accusing it of withholding the documents.

“No one did anything with them. And why were they sitting in the Southern District of New York? I want a full report on that,” she said.

Bondi expressed frustration, asserting that the administration’s approach to transparency and honesty has been lacking.

She was also firm in her commitment to releasing as much information as possible to the public.

“It’s a new day. It’s a new administration, and everything’s going to come out to the public. The public has the right to know. Americans have a right to know,” she declared.

The recent document release, which had generated widespread anticipation, was met with disappointment.

Critics, including Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL), voiced their frustration over the lack of significant revelations. Last Thursday, the rollout of the Epstein files fell flat as many hoped for more substantial information, including a “client list” or new details on the financier’s extensive criminal activities.

Rep. Luna expressed her dissatisfaction on social media, posting, “I nor the task force were given or reviewed the Epstein documents being released today… A NY Post story just revealed that the documents will simply be Epstein’s phonebook.”

She called the release a “complete disappointment” and demanded more comprehensive information. “THIS IS NOT WHAT WE OR THE AMERICAN PEOPLE ASKED FOR! GET US THE INFORMATION WE ASKED FOR!”
