Elon Musk Savagely Trolls Outraged Fed Workers With New Title for Himself as DOGE Attempts to Seize $5T System

Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has gained limited access to the Treasury Department’s $5 trillion system, despite fierce opposition from federal workers and mounting legal challenges.

The development marks a pivotal moment in the Trump administration’s promise to overhaul federal bureaucracy.

The news came as Musk, who recently dubbed himself “White House Tech Support” on his X platform, continues his aggressive push to reshape federal institutions under President Donald Trump’s administration.

Two of Musk’s close associates have been granted “read-only” access to sensitive government data, including tax returns and social security numbers, in what some critics call an alarming concentration of power in private hands.

The Justice Department has restricted data access to just two individuals: Tom Krause, former chief executive of Cloud Software Group, and 25-year-old Marko Elez, a former engineer at X and SpaceX.

Both have been designated as “special government employees” alongside Musk himself, a status that according to the Daily Mail gives them unprecedented access to government systems while maintaining their private sector connections.

The outlet further noted that U.S. District Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly, a Clinton appointee with a history of significant rulings including blocking a transgender military ban in 2017, will oversee this temporary arrangement until both parties return to court on Feb. 24.

The compromise emerged after unions representing federal workers attempted to block DOGE’s access to Treasury data, citing serious privacy and security concerns.

The restriction comes amid significant personnel changes, including the resignation of Acting Deputy Secretary David Lebryk, an over 30-year Treasury veteran, following DOGE’s data access request.

His departure signals growing internal resistance to the sweeping changes being implemented across federal agencies.

TTOA has reported that DOGE’s influence has already resulted in substantial changes across multiple agencies, implementing what supporters call necessary reforms and critics denounce as reckless dismantling of government infrastructure.

The organization has implemented widespread cuts at USAID, the Department of Education, and various DEI departments, pursuing an ambitious goal of identifying $3 billion in daily savings.

Federal employees, including the entire CIA workforce, have been offered substantial exit packages – eight months of pay and benefits in exchange for voluntary resignation.

These sweeping changes have sparked protests in the nation’s capital, with demonstrators chanting “Deport Musk,” “Down with Trump,” and “Do your Job Congress!”

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) addressed protesters, declaring, “Elon Musk is seizing power from the American people.”

Sen. Patty Murray (D-WA) expressed concerns about “an unelected, unaccountable billionaire with expansive conflicts of interest” accessing sensitive financial data, Daily Mail reported.

The pushback from Democratic lawmakers has been met with strong support from Republican leadership.

Daily Mail noted that Vice President JD Vance defended Musk’s role, emphasizing that voters supported Trump’s campaign promise to employ Musk in targeting government waste.

The initiative has notably expanded beyond its original scope, with DOGE now involved in air traffic control system improvements following a recent tragic collision in Washington DC that claimed 67 lives.

Musk’s team includes several young tech professionals, with six team members between ages 19 and 25 working to restructure America’s foreign aid agency.

Their youth and private sector background have raised eyebrows among career civil servants, who question their qualifications for restructuring complex government systems.
