Border Czar Drops Two-Word Response as Trump Admin Delivers on Deportation Pledge

Border Czar Tells Political Opponents ‘Game On’ as Trump Administration Deports Over 300 Illegal Immigrants

On the first full day of President Donald Trump’s administration, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrested over 300 illegal immigrants, some with serious criminal charges, including murder and child rape.

Tom Homan, the Trump administration’s border czar, revealed that ICE officers arrested 308 individuals on Tuesday, marking the beginning of a crackdown on illegal immigration and criminal activity across the country. Homan also issued a stern warning to politicians resisting the efforts, saying, “Game on” to anyone who opposes the administration’s deportation initiatives.

In an interview on “Fox & Friends,” Homan emphasized that ICE’s primary focus was to remove individuals who posed significant threats to public safety. He also noted that there are approximately 700,000 illegal immigrants with criminal records currently in the U.S. and ICE is actively targeting those individuals for arrest and deportation.

“ICE is doing their job,” Homan said, according to Fox News, further emphasizing the administration’s commitment to law enforcement and border security.

Homan’s comments come after Trump signed an executive order instructing ICE to carry out mass deportations, even in sanctuary cities where local officials oppose such efforts. Homan emphasized that even without cooperation from sanctuary jurisdictions, ICE will continue its work.

“We’ll wait ‘til they get out of jail, then we’ll go out into the neighborhoods and get them,” Homan said, referencing ICE’s “target sheet” of individuals to arrest, prioritizing those with the most severe criminal records.

The arrests on Trump’s first day included individuals who were accused of serious crimes. Among them were murderers, rapists and child sexual assault offenders.

Homan made it clear that ICE would focus on the worst offenders, removing them from the U.S. to protect public safety. He also noted that immigration enforcement would continue every day under the new administration.

Simultaneously, the Trump administration took steps to further secure the southern border. Border agents are now prohibited from releasing illegal immigrants into the country, forcing them to detain and deport border crossers.

Homeland Security sources confirmed that this directive was in place from day one of the Trump administration. In addition to ICE’s efforts, the president also ordered the deployment of 1,500 active-duty troops to assist in securing the border, according to Fox News.

In addition to these measures, Resist the Mainstream reported Monday that, as part of the administration’s overhaul of immigration policies, Trump has also terminated the use of the CBP One application. The app, developed during the Biden administration, enabled individuals traveling to the U.S. to schedule asylum appointments at the border.

In response to pushback from local leaders in sanctuary cities, Homan issued a stern warning.

“We’re just trying to help public safety in your community,” he said. “Game on” if local officials continue to resist, he added.

Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes also weighed in, defending the administration’s focus on public safety. Mayes, criticizing those who called the detention centers “concentration camps,” pointed out the loss of a Border Patrol agent in a recent shooting and praised ICE for maintaining the highest detention standards in the industry.

Despite resistance from some political leaders, the Trump administration remained focused on its goals of securing the border and ensuring public safety. Homan reiterated that this shift in focus represented a “game-changer,” with ICE prioritizing the most dangerous criminal offenders first.

“I want to save lives,” he said. “Secure border saves lives.”

“When President Trump locks this border down, less women and children will be sex trafficked in this country, less aliens would die making that journey. Under President Biden, we’ve had a record number of people die crossing that border [and a] 600% increase in sex trafficking.”

Trump has made it clear that the U.S. cannot have strong national security without border security and he maintains that his administration’s efforts will reduce sex trafficking, protect women and children and ensure a safer nation.
