Celebrity Chef Reports Shocking Business Change Linked to Trump Election Victory

Celebrity chef Andrew Gruel, who owns a restaurant in California, has reported a notable surge in sales following Donald Trump‘s recent election victory. On “The Big Money Show,” Gruel indicated that his sales doubled within just one day after the election results were announced. He also noted that other restaurant owners experienced similar increases, particularly in their catering services.

“The very next day when Trump won, our sales doubled almost from week on week,” Gruel told Fox News. “And I spoke to restaurant owners all over the place because I posted about that. They were like, ‘Us too,’ ‘Us too,’ ‘Our catering [has] gone up,’ ‘This has gone up.’”

“I think it’s just the mere sigh of relief that, okay, this is over,” he added.

Gruel suggested that sales trends in the restaurant industry can serve as barometers for overall public sentiment. He observed that the uptick in restaurant business may signify a widespread sense of relief among consumers regarding the election outcome. Expressing optimism about the future economic prospects, Gruel stated that many individuals acknowledge the potential for economic growth that may stem from the Trump administration, even if they are hesitant to admit it publicly.

“We do know what we saw from the Trump administration. And whether people want to say it publicly or not, they know it’s going to be a stronger economy,” Gruel said.

Furthermore, Gruel has been critical of the Democratic leadership in California, highlighting what he sees as negative impacts from their policies. He suggested that there is a growing awareness among residents of the adverse effects these policies have had on local businesses and communities. Gruel implicitly speculated that Governor Gavin Newsom‘s time in office could be nearing its end, hinting that changes in policy direction could be forthcoming as his term progresses.

“It’s not going to go from blue to a hard red [state] overnight. But people are opening up their eyes. They’re waking up,” Gruel said.

“Newsom’s coming to the end of his tenure. So that will be curious to see how that shakes out in regards to not just him leaving, but also the way in which he addresses policy [on] his way out,” he concluded.
