Mark Cuban Drops Shock Message for Trump, Elon Musk

Mark Cuban Congratulates Trump, Elon Musk for Election Night Victory: ‘You Won Fair and Square’

In a striking turn of events following the 2024 presidential election, billionaire entrepreneur Mark Cuban publicly acknowledged Donald Trump’s victory over Vice President Kamala Harris, marking a significant shift in his stance toward the President-elect.

Cuban, a prominent Harris surrogate throughout the campaign, took to X to concede Trump’s victory after Pennsylvania’s electoral votes sealed the Republican nominee’s path to the White House.

“Congrats @realDonald Trump. You won fair and square,” Cuban posted, followed by a congratulatory message to Elon Musk.

X users swiftly flocked to promote unity. “Now is the time to come together and build America up,” one user said.

“Would love to see Donald Trump and Mark Cuban work together on fixing the healthcare industry in America!”

The tech mogul’s concession comes after months of public criticism of Trump, including recent controversial remarks about the former president’s relationships with female politicians.

Just last week, Cuban faced backlash for suggesting Trump avoided campaigning with former Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley because of discomfort around “strong, intelligent women.”

“Donald Trump, you never see him around strong, intelligent women. Ever,” Cuban had stated. “It’s just that simple. They’re intimidating to him.”

TTOA reported that the billionaire investor later walked back these comments, acknowledging them as a “mistake.”

Despite their previous tensions, Cuban has expressed willingness to work with the incoming Trump administration.

During a CNBC appearance last month, he referenced his past collaboration with Trump’s team during the COVID-19 pandemic, specifically on domestic production of personal protective equipment (PPE).

“If Trump wins, last time when he won, he asked me to help on health care, on PPE, I sat with Peter Navarro and helped him come up with a mask company and helped them grow. That was all domestic production. I’ll do the same thing. I’m America first,” Cuban stated.

Fox News reported that the “Shark Tank” star had previously raised concerns about potential conflicts of interest regarding fellow billionaire Elon Musk, arguing against his possible cabinet position in a Trump administration due to his extensive business holdings.

Other celebrities had much different reactions to Trump’s win.

Cardi B, for example, took to TikTok, confronting Trump supporters flooding her comments section.

“I know there’s probably a lot going on in her mind,” Cardi B stated about Harris, adding that “women around the world are proud of her. Women of color are proud of her.”

One comment on her livestream read, “Cardi we need you at the Trump inauguration,” to which the rapper responded, “I swear to god I’m gonna f*** you up, get away from me!”

“I’m sick of you! Burn you’re f***ing hats motherf****r. I’m really sad. I swear to god I’m really sad,” she continued.
