Michelle Obama Upset Over Left-Wing Outlets Refusing to Endorse Harris for President
In an unprecedented move that has sparked outrage among Democratic voters, both the Los Angeles Times and the Washington Post have declined to endorse either candidate in the upcoming presidential election.
This shock move signals growing uncertainty within traditionally left-leaning institutions about Vice President Kamala Harris’s campaign, Daily Mail’s Maureen Callahan argued.
Former First Lady Michelle Obama recently defended Harris at a campaign event in Kalamazoo, Michigan, stating, “I hope you’ll forgive me if I’m a little frustrated that some of us are choosing to ignore Donald Trump’s gross incompetence while asking Kamala to dazzle us at every turn.”
“We pick apart Kamala’s answers from interviews that [Trump] doesn’t even have the courage to do,” she continued.
Callahan roasted Obama over these sentiments in her op-ed, writing, “Dazzle us? At this point, we’re just looking for a coherent, specific answer to any question. Just one.”
These statements from the former first lady reiterates Democrats’ frustration over the lack of support from left leaning publications.
The decision prompted immediate backlash from prominent figures, including bestselling author Stephen King, who announced on X, “After five years, I have canceled my subscription to the Washington Post.”
Callahan noted that the Washington Post, owned by Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, has maintained a notably critical stance toward former President Trump since 2016, even adopting the motto “Democracy Dies in Darkness” following his victory.
She added that Harris’s campaign has faced mounting scrutiny following a detailed New York Times profile, based on interviews with 100 associates and friends.
The piece revealed that “she was not a gifted student” in law school and that her 2019 presidential run “revealed a person for whom… politics did not come naturally.”
“She struggled to define herself ideologically,” it continued.
Recent campaign appearances have highlighted these challenges.
During CNN’s town hall, Harris struggled to articulate specific policy goals when asked about her dream legislation, responding with a lengthy, non-specific answer about getting “past this era of politics and partisan politics.”
Meanwhile, Trump has maintained a strong media presence, including a three-hour interview with Joe Rogan that garnered over 34 million YouTube views.
During the interview, Trump discussed various topics ranging from UFOs to his experiences in the White House, demonstrating what he calls “the weave” – his ability to speak discursively while maintaining his original thread of thought.
Harris’s notable absence from traditional campaign events has raised eyebrows, including her decision to skip the Al Smith charity dinner, a historically significant political event attended by presidential candidates from both parties.
Comedian Jim Gaffigan addressed her absence, saying, “Why is Vice President Harris not here? I mean… this is a room full of Catholics and Jews in New York City.”
“This is a layup for the Democratic nominee.”
The campaign has increasingly relied on celebrity endorsements, with recent appearances by Bruce Springsteen and Beyoncé at rallies, though neither performed.
These events have overshadowed Harris’s own messaging and policy positions.

Harris is a low-intellect type who, when asked any question will either monolog or filibuster. She has no clue about the real issues that concern Americans and doesn’t seem to care either.
