741 Officials, Including Renowned Liars, Endorse Harris

741 Intel Chiefs, Including Some Who Lied About Hunter Biden’s Laptop, Endorse Harris

Hundreds of so-called national security experts have thrown their weight behind Vice President Kamala Harris in her bid for the presidency.

Among these self-proclaimed guardians of democracy are several individuals who infamously dismissed the Hunter Biden laptop story as Russian disinformation in 2020.

PJ Media’s Catherine Salgado reported that a letter published by National Security Leaders for America (NSL4A) and signed by 741 former high-ranking national security officials claims to endorse Harris based on two “fundamental principles:” the need for a “serious and capable Commander-in-Chief” and the defense of American democracy.

Fox News previously reported that nine signatories of this recent endorsement were also involved in the 2020 letter discrediting the Hunter Biden laptop story.

These include former CIA Directors Michael V. Hayden, Leon E. Panetta and John Brennan, as well as former Director of National Intelligence Jim Clapper.

The endorsement letter lauds Harris’s diplomatic efforts, particularly in maintaining international support for Ukraine against Russian aggression.

It also praises her understanding of American military deterrence and her commitment to preserving the U.S. military’s status as the world’s most “lethal” force.

In contrast, the letter portrays President Donald Trump as “impulsive and ill-informed,” accusing him of denigrating the country and failing to reflect the will of the people.

“Mr. Trump denigrates our great country and does not believe in the American ideal that our leaders should reflect the will of the people,” the letter reads.

“Our endorsement of Vice President Harris is an endorsement of freedom and an act of patriotism.”

Critics like Salgado argue that Harris’s track record as Vice President tells a different story, however.

Under the Biden-Harris administration, America has seen significant challenges, including border security issues and economic difficulties.

Harris’s approval ratings as vice president have reached historic lows, raising questions about her ability to lead effectively.

Salgado highlighted that the letter also repeats contested claims about Trump’s actions on January 6, 2021, despite his calls for peace during the events at the Capitol.

Supporters of Trump argue that during his presidency, he successfully deterred international aggression, brokered peace agreements and worked to end long-standing conflicts.

They contend that Trump’s “America First” policy stands in stark contrast to what they perceive as the current administration’s approach to foreign policy and national security.

The endorsement of Harris by these national security experts has reignited debates about the influence of the so-called “deep state” on American politics.

Salgado argued: “Never forget that censorship of the Hunter Biden scandals swung the 2020 election in Joe Biden’s favor, according to Media Research Center polling data.”

Critics argue that this endorsement reflects a desire to protect established power structures rather than serve the interests of the American people, per Salgado.

“The 741 bureaucrats’ letter is so riddled with blatant lies it would take a much lengthier piece to fact-check them all,” Salgado argued during one part of her article.

As the presidential race heats up, this high-profile endorsement is likely to fuel further discussions about national security, foreign policy, and the future direction of American leadership.
