Shock Trump Shooting Red Flag Emerges as Harris Breaks Silence

Harris Breaks Silence on Second Trump Shooting as Sources Reveal President’s Golf Outing was ‘Last-Minute Decision’

President Donald Trump narrowly escaped harm when gunshots were fired near his West Palm Beach golf club on Sunday afternoon.

The incident, which occurred around 2:00 p.m., marks the second apparent assassination attempt on the GOP leader in less than two months.

Vice President Kamala Harris has since broken her silence.

Harris stated, “I have been briefed on reports of gunshots fired near former President Trump and his property in Florida, and I am glad he is safe. Violence has no place in America.”

The White House echoed this sentiment, with both President Joe Biden and Harris expressing relief at Trump’s safety, Daily Mail reported.

They assured the public that they would be kept regularly updated on the situation.

The internet was left putting together the timeline of events Sunday evening, especially after CNN reported Trump’s golf outing was a “last minute” decision.

One X user asked, “How did the suspect know President Trump was golfing there today and near the 5th Hole?”

They continued: “2nd Trump’s assassination attempt. Inside Job?”

Libs of TikTok wrote, “Trump’s golf outing was a last minute decision. How did the sh**ter know Trump would be out golfing at that exact time?”

Daily Mail further noted that Trump, who was enjoying a round of golf with real estate investor Steve Witkoff, was swiftly rushed to safety by his Secret Service detail as shots rang out across the Florida golf course.

The quick action of his security team ensured the former president’s safety, leaving him unharmed in what officials believe was an attempt on his life.

Steven Cheung, Trump’s campaign communications director, confirmed the former president’s safety in a brief statement.

“President Trump is safe following gunshots in his vicinity,” Cheung said.

The Secret Service, working in conjunction with local law enforcement, reportedly exchanged fire with the gunman before apprehending a suspect.

Multiple police sources have revealed that an AK-47 was recovered at the scene.

The suspect was allegedly pointing the weapon towards the golf course before the shots were fired, raising serious questions about the breach in security at the high-profile location.

This alarming incident comes on the heels of a previous assassination attempt on July 13 in Butler, Pennsylvania, where Trump was shot in the ear during a campaign rally.

The proximity of these two events has led to increased scrutiny of the former president’s security measures.

Senator Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) reported speaking with Trump shortly after the incident, describing him as being in “good spirits” and “more resolved than ever to save our country.”

As investigations into this latest security breach unfold, questions are being raised about the effectiveness of protective measures surrounding the former president.

The incident at Trump’s golf club, located just five miles from his Mar-a-Lago residence, has reignited concerns about the vulnerabilities in his security detail.

Daily Mail reported that the Secret Service, along with the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, has launched a full investigation into what they’re calling a “protective incident.”

Anthony Guglielmi, a spokesperson for the Secret Service, confirmed that they are working diligently to uncover all details surrounding the shooting.

This alarming event comes as multiple investigations are still ongoing into the July shooting in Pennsylvania that left two dead, including the would-be assassin, and two critically injured.

While Trump emerges unscathed from this latest ordeal, the incident underscores the volatile nature of American politics and the ongoing challenges in safeguarding those at the forefront of the nation’s leadership.
