Tulsi Gabbard Exposes Biden’s Secret Plan to Gut the Second Amendment
Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard has revealed the Biden administration’s bold plan aimed at addressing domestic terrorism.
The plan, however, has drawn sharp criticism from gun rights advocates, who claim that it represents a direct attack on the Second Amendment.
The 15-page “Strategic Implementation Plan for Countering Domestic Terrorism” outlines potential policies that could be enacted if Biden or Harris won the 2024 election, according to Trending Politics.
According to Gabbard, the plan marks an unprecedented effort to curtail American gun rights in the name of fighting terrorism.
The report highlights several key actions, including the push for stricter laws to control ghost guns, the promotion of extreme risk protection orders (ERPOs) and calls for bans on assault weapons and high-capacity magazines.
Ghost guns, which are often assembled by individuals using 3D printers and lack serial numbers, have increasingly been targeted by lawmakers seeking to curb untraceable firearms.
The Biden administration’s plan goes further, suggesting increased regulation on firearms in the name of reducing domestic terrorism.
One section of the report calls for increased government intervention for those considered to be potential threats.
The proposal emphasizes the need for “strengthening civics education” and increasing “civic engagement,” further stating that “Americans should have increasing faith in democracy and government.”
Gabbard, a staunch advocate for gun rights, voiced her concern about the administration’s proposed actions.
In a recent post on X, she referred to the plan as a covert effort to eliminate the Second Amendment in the name of counterterrorism.
“This is Biden’s secret plan to attack your gun rights under the guise of combating domestic terrorism,” she stated.
Supporters of gun control argue that the proliferation of ghost guns has contributed to a rise in illegal firearms, which they believe fuels criminal activity and mass shootings.
However, Gabbard and other opponents of the plan believe that the measures outlined by the Biden administration would do little to solve these issues while undermining the rights of law-abiding citizens.
One of the most controversial aspects of the plan is the promotion of ERPOs, commonly known as “red flag” laws.
These laws, which allow family members, employers or others to report individuals they believe pose a danger to themselves or others, could lead to the temporary confiscation of firearms without due process.
Proponents argue that these laws can prevent violent acts by intervening before they occur, while critics worry they could be misused to infringe on Second Amendment rights.
Although red flag laws have been implemented in several blue states, gun rights groups, including the National Rifle Association (NRA), remain opposed to them, citing concerns over potential abuse.
They argue that focusing on these types of restrictions misses the mark, as many violent acts are committed by individuals who obtain weapons illegally, bypassing the legal restrictions entirely.
In response to the proposed actions in the report, President Donald Trump vowed to take immediate action if re-elected in 2024.
At the NRA’s Presidential Forum, Trump vowed to reverse all Biden-era gun restrictions, saying they’ll be “terminated on my very first week back in office,” per TP.
The plan’s exposure has reignited the national debate over gun rights, domestic terrorism and the balance between national security and personal freedoms.
As the debate intensifies, many will be watching to see how the legal and political landscape evolves, particularly in light of the increasing pressure on lawmakers to either strengthen or loosen gun control regulations.
