Elon Musk Says ‘Fake NGO’ Leaders Should be Arrested, Claims They’re Part of ‘Uniparty’ Engaged in ‘Giant Money Laundering Scheme’
Elon Musk, the recently appointed chief of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), called Tuesday for the arrest of leaders of what he termed “fake” non-governmental organizations receiving federal funds, claiming they represent a politically connected “uniparty” engaged in “money laundering” of taxpayer resources.

“With respect to the non-governmental organizations, these sort of fake NGOs, I think there needs to be a number of arrests,” Musk stated during an interview on Fox News’ “The Five.”
The Tesla and SpaceX CEO, who leads DOGE as an unpaid government employee, is currently spearheading efforts to reduce annual federal spending by $1 trillion to halve the deficit.
Musk characterized these organizations as “fake charities” run primarily by Democrats with occasional Republican involvement.

“They sometimes throw the Republicans a bone to say, ‘Hey, be quiet about this.’ So that’s where you start getting the uniparty thing going on,” he explained.
Musk believes these operations function as sophisticated money laundering operations funneling taxpayer dollars through multiple layers of organizations.
“They give these billions of dollars to NGOs run by Democrats that then go through a whole network of additional NGOs — it’s a giant money laundering scheme. Really at this point, I think the word NGO and money laundering are almost synonymous,” Musk asserted during the interview.
While Musk lacks the authority to order criminal investigations, his significant influence could elevate the issue among Trump’s appointees at the Justice Department and U.S. attorney offices.
“The wheels of justice turn slowly, but surely,” Musk remarked, adding, “I have a maniacal sense of urgency.”

Musk did not specify any particular NGO or allegedly corrupt operator by name during the interview. However, Republicans have recently highlighted a $2 billion environmental grant awarded last year by the Biden administration to organizations linked to former Georgia Democratic gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams, who advised on securing the funds.
Abrams has maintained she did not personally benefit financially from the grant, noting that the money has not been disbursed and she has left her job at one of the partnering organizations.
The New York Post reported that Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lee Zeldin indicated last week that the Department of Justice and FBI are investigating that particular award, which could represent the type of case Musk is referencing.
🚨Stacey Abrams’ Power Forward Communities received $2 BILLION to be a pass through entity for Biden EPA’s $20 billion “gold bar” scheme.
They reported just $100 in total revenue after their founding in late 2023.

Zeldin called attention to this massive disparity in funds back in February as part of a broader investigation into the agency’s distribution of Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund grants. The grant represents a staggering 20 million times the organization’s reported revenue, a ratio TTOA reported has alarmed government watchdogs and fiscal conservatives alike.

Musk mentioned in his Fox News interview his belief that authorities will arrest someone “hopefully this week” for allegedly stealing 400,000 Social Security numbers, though he didn’t provide additional context about this separate investigation.
The DOGE chief also shifted focus to state politics, urging Wisconsin voters to participate in a state judicial election that he claims could impact the fate of the House of Representatives following next year’s midterm elections.
Muks believes if Democratic judges redraw congressional districts in Wisconsin and deliver a win for the party, “the House will then immediately take action to stop the president’s agenda. There will be non-stop hearings and subpoenas.”
