Trump Says ‘All’ JFK Files Will be Released Today
President Donald Trump announced that “all of the Kennedy files” will be released on Tuesday, fulfilling a campaign promise that will make approximately 80,000 pages of unredacted documents available to the public.
The announcement comes after decades of speculation and public interest in the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.
Speaking to White House press pool reporters, Trump confirmed that the release was being coordinated by Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Tulsi Gabbard. “I don’t believe we’re going to redact anything,” Trump stated, emphasizing his commitment to transparency on the matter.
“I said during the campaign I’d do it and I’m a man of my word so tomorrow you have the JFK files,” Trump told reporters, adding that the release would occur Tuesday afternoon.

When asked if an executive summary would accompany the documents, Trump was direct: “No, I’m not doing summaries. You’ll write your own summaries.”
The Kennedy assassination files have reportedly been the most requested documents since Trump signed an executive order earlier this year mandating the release of files related to JFK, Martin Luther King Jr. and Jeffrey Epstein.
In a weekend interview with “Full Measure,” Trump provided additional context on his decision-making process regarding the Kennedy files.
“I released a lot of them, but then a lot of people started coming in, people that are respected, people that worked for the administration, asked me not to release the rest. And I respected that. They gave me certain reasons, but I respected that,” Trump explained.
He further reflected on his previous decision to withhold some documents: “I said that probably wish I did release the whole thing, because I have no idea what’s in there. But since then, they found, and we found 2,000 more documents on Kennedy, and the one they want most is Kennedy, and it’s going to be released.”
The president indicated that the release process was “moving along pretty rapidly” after the discovery of additional documents.

TTOA has reported on the outrage surrounding the Department of Justice’s (DOJ) botched release of the Epstein files.

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) is one prominent leading the backlash, demanding more transparency from the DOJ.
Luna expressed frustration over the DOJ’s silence and urged Attorney General Pam Bondi to make the remaining documents public during a recent Fox News appearance.
“I feel the same way that you do, Jesse. I’m very frustrated, just like many Americans are. I think that those lists need to be released to the American people,” Luna stated.
“That’s really up to the decision of Attorney General Pam Bondi,” the congresswoman added during her interview, giving voice to the growing impatience among those seeking answers.
She emphasized the need for accountability in the Epstein case, noting the serious nature of his crimes and the potential involvement of other powerful individuals.
Bondi had previously told Fox News host Jesse Watters on Feb. 26 that the public would soon see “some” of Epstein’s files, which were expected to include “a lot of flight logs, a lot of names, and a lot of information.” However, the initial release fell short of these expectations, creating a wave of disappointment and suspicion among those following the case.
AG Pam Bondi says the FBI is now in possession of a “truckload” of Epstein files that arrived on Friday: “We got them all Friday… Thousands of pages of documents… Kash is going to get me a detailed report… We’re gonna go through it as fast as we can…”

Luna, who serves as the leader of the House Oversight Committee’s Task Force on the Declassification of Federal Secrets, confirmed during her appearance on “Jesse Watters Primetime” that Congress has received minimal communication from the DOJ regarding this high-profile matter.
