Alex Jones Speaks Out After InfoWars Reporter ‘Brutally Murdered’ Outside His Apartment: ‘This is a Crisis’
InfoWars reporter Jamie White was shockingly discovered unresponsive late Sunday night in what authorities are now investigating as a homicide.
White was pronounced dead after being transported to a local hospital, marking Austin’s eighth homicide this year.
Austin Police Department officers responded to a high-priority emergency call at approximately 11:57 p.m. in the 2300 block of Douglas Street. According to APD Public Information Officer Leah Ratliff, officers arrived within two minutes and found White with “obvious signs of trauma.”
“This is pretty early on in the investigation, and the homicide unit will be releasing more information as they’re able,” Ratliff stated, as reported by CBS.
InfoWars founder Alex Jones confirmed White’s death in a statement, vowing that those responsible would face consequences. “Jamie’s tragic death will not be in vain, and those responsible for this senseless violence will be brought to justice,” Jones declared.
White had reportedly been working late at the InfoWars studios Sunday night and was later found at his home, located just a few miles from the studio.
Jones described White as someone who “loved to fight tyranny, loved to fight freedom.”
The investigation remains in its early stages, with authorities yet to confirm the nature of White’s injuries or release information about potential suspects. Despite the limited details available, Jones expressed strong opinions about the circumstances surrounding the incident during his show.
Jones criticized Austin District Attorney Jose Garza, whom he described as being backed by George Soros, and suggested broader issues with law enforcement policies in Austin. He pointed to what he characterized as problems with police funding and staffing in the city.
“When you see the Soros DAs in control of over 800 jurisdictions protecting serious narcotic and human trafficking gangs, and you see different feds in ICE calling in warnings for the most violent gangs in the world that there are ICE raids coming, Pam Bondi saying that they’re preparing to indict some of these people, that there are so many communist traitors in the government that they’re doing polygraphs… This is a crisis, defunding the police, all of this has been to destabilize society,” Jones said on his program following the announcement of White’s death, as outlined by The Post Millennial (TPM).
Jones specifically mentioned the Austin police force, claiming it had been defunded despite public statements to the contrary from city officials. “Despite Austin being a war zone at night in many areas, the police were there in two minutes and got him to the hospital in just 15, 20 [minutes]. He was announced dead there. That’s service. You can’t do your job when you don’t have enough people,” Jones stated.
The sudden death of White has sent shockwaves through conservative media circles, particularly among followers of InfoWars.
Reddit Lies highlighted that the last retweet from White included a question from Elon Musk that stated, “why are liberal so violent?”
Musk would go on to add: “Legacy media propaganda is a major part of the problem.”
