MAGA Firebrand Drops Explosive Tweet as Furious AG Unveils New Ultimatum With Incredibly Tight Deadline

MAGA Firebrand Erupts Over DOJ’s Botched Release of Epstein Files as Furious AG Bondi Demands FBI Investigate Why Agents Refused to Fork Over All Evidence

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) condemned the Department of Justice (DOJ) on Thursday following the release of some of the Jeffrey Epstein files, arguing that the long-awaited document dump failed to provide the crucial details sought by lawmakers and the public.

Luna, who serves as the chairwoman of the Task Force on the Declassification of Federal Secrets, took to X before the release, expressing frustration over reports indicating that the documents would largely consist of Epstein’s already-public phone book.

“I nor the task force were given or reviewed the Epstein documents being released today…” Luna wrote Thursday afternoon.

“A NY Post story just revealed that the documents will simply be Epstein’s phonebook. THIS IS NOT WHAT WE OR THE AMERICAN PEOPLE ASKED FOR. GET US THE INFORMATION WE ASKED FOR instead of leaking old info to press.”

According to a report by the New York Post, the DOJ’s release would primarily consist of Epstein’s personal address book. The report cited an unnamed source who warned that the contents would likely be a “disappointment” to those expecting significant new revelations.

The outlet also noted that Gawker had already published Epstein’s 97-page address book back in 2015.

The release of these documents comes amid heightened scrutiny of the DOJ’s handling of classified information, with Rep. Luna vowing to investigate the declassification process.

Speaking at a dinner event Wednesday, Luna reaffirmed her commitment to overseeing the transparency of federal records, stating that she would be “investigating everything that’s being released and declassified from the White House.”

Adding to the controversy, the document release was further delayed following orders from U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi.

On Thursday, Bondi directed FBI Director Kash Patel to investigate a New York FBI field office that allegedly failed to disclose the existence of additional Epstein-related files.

The Daily Mail reported that Bondi issued a clear deadline for the FBI, demanding full transparency.

“By 8:00 a.m. tomorrow, February 28, the FBI will deliver the full and complete Epstein files to my office, including all records, documents, audio and video recordings and materials related to Jeffrey Epstein and his clients, regardless of how such information was obtained,” Bondi wrote in a statement.

“There will be no withholdings or limitations to my or your access,” she added, signaling an uncompromising stance on ensuring the full scope of Epstein’s connections is made available.

The DOJ’s handling of the Epstein files has drawn criticism from multiple sides, with concerns that key figures linked to Epstein may be shielded from scrutiny. Advocates for transparency argue that the American people deserve access to unredacted documents that provide clarity on Epstein’s extensive network and the high-profile individuals associated with him.

Compounding frustrations, the Trump administration faced criticism for its initial handling of the release. Instead of publishing the documents online for broad public access, Phase One of the Epstein files was reportedly provided to select conservative social media influencers, prompting accusations of preferential treatment and a lack of transparency.
