Fox News Superstars Announce They’re Engaged
A romantic holiday announcement is making waves through media circles: Fox News heavyweights Sean Hannity and Ainsley Earhardt have confirmed their engagement, marking a significant milestone for the high-profile conservative television personalities.
The couple revealed to Fox News that Hannity, 62, chose their home church as the backdrop for his Christmas proposal to Earhardt, 48.
The engagement comes with the full blessing of their children, adding a touching family dimension to their union.
“We are overjoyed and so thankful to our families for all their love and support during this wonderful time in our lives,” the couple shared with Fox, expressing their elation about the next chapter in their relationship.
The engagement announcement brings to light the couple’s unique long-distance dynamic, which began taking shape in January when Hannity relocated his broadcasting base to what he enthusiastically calls the “free state” of Florida.
Despite their geographical separation, both hosts have demonstrated their commitment to both their relationship and their careers, having recently signed long-term contracts with Fox News Media that will maintain their current arrangement – Hannity broadcasting from Florida while Earhardt continues her duties in New York.
For both television personalities, this engagement represents a fresh start after previous marriages.
The Daily Caller reported that Hannity separated from Jill Rhodes in June 2020, concluding a marriage that spanned more than 20 years and produced two children, Patrick and Merri.
Earhardt’s path to this moment includes two previous marriages – her first to Kevin McKinney from 2005 to 2009, and her second to Will Proctor, which ended in 2019 after nearly seven years.
She shares a daughter, Hayden, with Proctor.
The couple’s shared faith played a pivotal role in their relationship and engagement story.
According to their statement to Fox News, they initially bonded over their religious beliefs and commitment to putting “God first in their relationship.”
This spiritual foundation made their home church the “perfect place” for the proposal, which was followed by a meeting with their minister.
While the exact timeline of their relationship remains private, the Daily Mail first brought public attention to their romance in 2023.
Their engagement announcement now confirms what many had speculated about the couple’s deepening relationship.
In another stunning Fox News announcement, longtime anchor Neil Cavuto departed the network last week after 28 years.
Cavuto made his final appearance on “Your World” last Thursday, bidding farewell to viewers who had followed his coverage of financial markets and political developments for nearly three decades.
TTOA reported on Christmas Eve that new details have emerged about the complicated circumstances behind his exit.
Former CNN employee Oliver Darcy highlighted that Cavuto’s departure was driven by broader changes in conservative media landscape.
Darcy claimed that Cavuto’s show had become a “wormhole to another time” that predated Trump’s transformation of the Republican Party into what Darcy describes as an “America-First image.”
He continued: “Donald Trump not only remade the Republican Party in his own image, but he also remade the right-wing media landscape in it too. Fox News’ 2024 lineup is a reflection of that.”
Financial considerations also reportedly played a role in Cavuto’s exit.
