Trump Ignites Crowd With Foul-Mouthed Attack, Autism Suspicions

Trump Dubs Woke ‘Bullsh*t’, Vows to ‘Figure Out’ Alarming Rise in Autism in America

In a passionate address at Turning Point’s AmericaFest in Phoenix, President-elect Donald Trump slammed the “woke” liberal mindset.

“Woke has to stop, because along with everything else, it is destroying our country,” Trump said, speaking to a crowd of conservative supporters on Sunday marking his first public appearance since securing his historic 2024 election victory.

“We’re going to stop woke … woke is bulls**t.”

The president-elect also made headlines for emphasizing the urgency of addressing what he sees as a concerning trend in autism diagnoses.

He cited a dramatic shift from “one in 10,000 children 25 years ago” to “one in 36 children” today.

“Look, something’s going on here,” Trump declared, outlining his vision for collaboration with Department of Health and Human Services nominee Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

“And Robert and I, we’re going to figure it out.”

Kennedy, who recently shifted from lifelong Democrat to independent presidential candidate, has gained significant support among Republican voters and advocates who question the current vaccine schedule, especially for children.

His appointment has drawn criticism from Democratic leaders, who express concern about placing a so-called anti-vaccine advocate at the helm of HHS.

The president-elect’s health initiatives extend beyond autism research.

Trump highlighted a “25 percent increase in childhood cancer and a staggering increase in chronic diseases,” pledging to “Make America Healthy Again” through his partnership with Kennedy.

During his speech, Trump also addressed several other key issues, including potential restrictions on TikTok.

Despite the Chinese-operated app facing possible U.S. bans, Trump acknowledged its effectiveness in reaching voters: “We did go on TikTok and we had a great response.”

The president-elect credited his 18-year-old son Barron for helping him connect with younger voters by encouraging his participation in podcasts during the campaign.

Trump celebrated his success with this demographic, despite earlier polls suggesting he struggled with younger voters.

Trump’s appearance at AmericaFest, organized by Turning Point USA, an organization focused on promoting conservative values among young Americans, also featured strong criticism of “woke” ideology and the current state of the country’s southern border.

The speech highlighted Republican opposition to various progressive initiatives, including transgender athletes in women’s sports, DEI workplace protocols and efforts to defund police following Black Lives Matter protests.
