Texas Billboards Ask Illegal Immigrants Jaw-Dropping Question

Texas Billboards Ask Illegal Immigrants Jaw-Dropping Questions: ‘How Much Did You Pay to Have Your Daughter Raped?’

In a bold move to deter illegal border crossings, Texas Governor Greg Abbott has launched a provocative $100,000 billboard campaign across Mexico and Central America.

The signs feature stark warnings about the dangers of illegal migration, particularly sexual assault.

The campaign, which includes 40 billboards in multiple languages including Spanish, Russian, Chinese and Arabic, poses confrontational questions such as “How much did you pay to have your daughter raped?”

Other messages warn of kidnapping and sexual exploitation, with one billboard stating, “This fourteen-year-old girl was raped by more than 20 men on her way to the border.”

Abbott unveiled the campaign in Eagle Pass, Texas, alongside what he identified as the remains of a “rape tree,” which he claims traffickers used for assaulting migrants before it was burned down.

Daily Mail reported that local rancher Kimberly Wall supported these claims, stating her husband had discovered and destroyed three such trees, though a 2022 investigation questioned their existence.

“Our goal right now, immediately, is not only to discourage them from coming, but to help them understand the consequences,” Abbott said during the campaign launch.

The initiative emerges as border policies continue to evolve.

While migrant crossings reached record highs after President Biden took office in 2021, recent months have seen a significant decrease following stricter border policies.

The timing coincides with recent developments in border security, as former Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent Tom Homan praised Abbott’s administration for doing more to secure the border than Biden administration officials.

The campaign launch comes as Texas officials recently offered 1,400 acres of border land to the incoming Trump administration, per Daily Mail.

Dawn Buckingham, the state’s Land Commissioner, suggested the former ranch property could be used for deportation facilities, noting it had been previously plagued by drug smuggling and human trafficking.

Homan, who has been tapped to lead what’s being called the “largest deportation of migrants in US history” under the incoming Trump administration, confirmed he is already developing plans for the donated land.

“The 1,400 acres of land, that saves us from acquiring the land,” Homan told Dr. Phil on Merit TV. “The government never buys things fast and when we do, we overpay for it, so having this from the state of Texas is great.”

Homan also made headlines after a candid sit down with Tucker Carlson.

TTOA reported on Thursday that the former Fox News host addressed potentially relocating migrants to affluent liberal neighborhoods, particularly areas such as Bethesda, Brookline, Aspen, Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket.

Homan laughed at the question, but Carlson quickly doubled down: “The people who did this are rich, white liberals in the United States who hate themselves and the country and to punish it, they invited all these people illegally from failed countries but they can’t stand the idea of living near these people because they’re racist.”

Carlson’s idea–one that he would be willing to “donate money” to–follows previous actions by Republican governors who have transported migrants to liberal enclaves; a strategy Fox News Democrat Jessica Tarlov has dubbed “the smartest thing” the GOP “ever did.”
