Dan Crenshaw Goes Berserk, Cusses up a Storm on X After Huge Accusation

Dan Crenshaw Goes Berserk, Cusses up a Storm on X After Platform Users Accuse Him of Insider Trading

In a heated exchange that has captured enormous attention on social media platform X, Texas Rep. Dan Crenshaw found himself at the center of a controversy over congressional stock trading performance.

This swiftly led to a contentious social media dispute with several prominent online figures.

The controversy reignited after journalist Nick Sortor reported that Crenshaw was leading efforts to secure a congressional pay raise, linking this initiative to previous discussions about stock trading by members of Congress.

Sortor highlighted that Crenshaw had recently stated that there was “no way to better yourself as a Congressman” without the ability to trade stocks.

Sortor then accused Crenshaw of working to push through the newly proposed–and very lengthy–continuing resolution (CR) with a sweeping scope and questionable provisions; a bill Elon Mush has been vehemently against.

Sortor claimed Crenshaw wanted CR to pass because he wanted pay increases–a facet of the bill–for Congress.

This latest development follows earlier scrutiny of congressional stock trading performance.

Not the Bee highlighted that a comparative analysis of congressional stock portfolios versus the S&P 500 showed significant outperformance by several members of Congress, with some representatives achieving returns more than double the market benchmark.

When confronted with these allegations, Crenshaw responded forcefully on social media, denying any involvement in congressional whip team decisions regarding pay raises.

“I’m not even on the YES list for the whip team. Never have been,” Crenshaw stated in a response to Sortor’s claims.

The exchange escalated when social media personality Catturd entered the debate, describing Crenshaw as someone who “miraculously became a stock expert since joining Congress.”

Crenshaw defended himself, citing his military service and challenging his critics’ credibility.

“I live in Atascocita, just outside Houston. If you think I’m ‘rich,’ you’re a f***ing idiot,” Crenshaw responded during his foulmouthed tirade.

He continued: “The people getting rich off politics are the ‘influencers’ like Catturd selling their platforms to the highest bidder. Sorry to break to it yall, that’s the truth.”

X users quickly blasted Crenshaw for his outbursts on the platform.

The controversy highlights ongoing debates about congressional stock trading and compensation.

Members of Congress haven’t received a pay raise since 2009, a point Crenshaw emphasized when discussing the issue.

Citics, however, argue that the ability to trade stocks while serving in Congress presents potential conflicts of interest.

This isn’t the first time Crenshaw has been ripped for a public freak out moment.

TTOA reported back in April that Crenshaw went viral after calling Tucker Carlson “a click chase” who’s “MO is simple: defend America’s enemies and attack America’s allies.”

He also dubbed Carlson “a cowardly, know-nothing elitist who is full of sh*t” following a controversial interview from the former Fox News host.
