Brett Cooper Leaves Daily Wire But Not Over Feud With CEO Jeremy Boreing Like Rumors Initially Claimed
It’s official: Brett Cooper is leaving the Daily Wire.
TTOA reported on the rumors surrounding this looming development last week as they circulated social media; rumors that claimed Cooper would soon leave the outlet over a “disagreement” with CEO Jeremy Boreing.
Cooper, host of the Daily Wire’s “The Comments Section,” made this announcement on Tuesday, confirming that “the rumors online” are “mostly true.”
The biggest difference appears to be that Cooper is leaving on her own accord.
The host shared that yesterday, Dec. 10, would be her final day working for the outlet, dismissing claims that she is being “forced out” by Boreing.
“It was my own choice to leave,” Cooper clarified.
Holding back tears, Cooper praised the Daily Wire and “The Comments Section” community for three years together, calling it “unbelievable.”
She then said that she is pursuing the next step in her career, which includes “new challenges and new endeavors.”
Cooper did not reveal what she would be doing next, but told viewers to stay tuned for those updates “soon.”
Cooper’s producer Reagan Rohrbach will now take over the show.

Boreing then momentarily came on screen to address Cooper’s departure by reiterating many of the same talking points.
This cameo was likely meant to dispel the rumors that claimed Cooper was leaving the Daily Wire in a “hostile” fashion due to a “disagreement” with Boreing; claims previously covered by TTOA.
Daily Wire’s Matt Walsh eventually weighed in on the news, too, writing, “I’m a big Brett Cooper fan.”
He continued: “She’s an enormous talent and will have a bright future no matter where she goes or what she does next. Very sad to see her go.”
These rumors first started last week after a scoop was posted online by James Li’s account among some others.
Li reported that sources close to the alleged Cooper-Boreing “disagreement” claimed Cooper’s looming departure was “hostile.”
Li added that Cooper is apparently not allowed to speak about it in detail.
This caused X users to notice eerily similarities to the Daily Wire-Candace Owens drama from earlier this year.
TTOA reported back in June about other allegations regarding the Daily Wire where an employee was apparently terminated after sending a supportive message to Owens from his personal email account.
Sawyer Brandt, the former employee with the company, alleged he was fired without warning after the company discovered he had sent Owens “moral support” over his private email.
“I was fired for sending Candace a personal email of moral support when the Daily Mail accused her of abusing her former team,” he said.
“I said nothing negative about the Daily Wire in my email to her.”
