Musk, Vivek Plan to END Daylight Saving Time

It’s about time!

Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy, the heads of Department of Government Efficiency are taking aim at the clock.

Musk floated the idea on social media, calling the time changes “annoying,” and Ramaswamy chimed in, branding them “inefficient.”

Their vision?

Proper and natural daylight saving time, the way God had intended it, without messing with the clock twice a year.

Millions of groggy Americans are ready to trade in their missed alarms and drives to work in the dark for a more natural way to live.

And it also has plenty of health benefits.

Wouldn’t the Establishment just hate to see us living healthy lives?

People are loving it!

Newsmax reports:

Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy are apparently floating the idea of doing away with changing the clocks twice a year and staying on daylight savings time permanently, The Washington Post reported Tuesday.

However, it was unclear if the two men, whom President-elect Donald Trump has chosen to run the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), were seriously considering a new policy or just throwing out suggestions on social media.

“Looks like the people want to abolish the annoying time changes!” Musk wrote last week on X, linking to another user’s online poll that found most wanted to end daylight saving time.

The practice of shifting clocks forward one hour in March and back one hour in November is intended to maximize the exposure to sunlight during working hours but has long been blamed for causing groggy mornings, missed appointments, and even some public health problems.

In reply to Mus’, Ramaswamy wrote “it’s inefficient & easy to change.”

In a follow-up post, Musk told Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, he did indeed want to end the time changes.

When it gets dark at 5pm starting each November, that means there’s more night.

And more crime. Since more crime occurs at night.

Deep Sentinel reports:

Here are the crime categories that occur more frequently during the nighttime in the United States:

  • DWI/DUI
  • Murder and negligent manslaughter
  • Rape and sexual assault
  • Robbery
  • Aggravated assault

The difference is stark: nighttime crimes tend to be more violent in nature. Midnight is typically the peak, but this may vary based on location and day of the week.

It’s even healthier for us.

Makes you wonder if they did this on purpose to make us less healthy. Seems like most decisions by the Establishment seems to have that as a goal.

  • How about only 1 time zone across the US? think of the efficiency in scheduling. China only has one time zone.
