Iconic Actress Slams Trump Supporters as ‘Uneducated’ and ‘Ignorant’ in Fiery Rant

Sharon Stone Labels Trump Supporters ‘Uneducated’ and ‘Ignorant’ in Fiery Rant

In a stunning outburst at the Torino Film Festival in Italy, actress Sharon Stone unleashed a fiery critique of American voters following President-elect Donald Trump’s recent election victory.

The 66-year-old actress, who had endorsed Democratic candidate Vice President Kamala Harris, labeled American voters as “uneducated” and “ignorant,” particularly targeting those who supported Trump.

“We have to stop and think about who we choose for government. And if, in fact, we are actually choosing our government or if the government is choosing itself,” said Stone, per Fox News.

The “Basic Instincts” actress drew parallels between the current political climate in America and Italy’s historical experience with fascism, warning that Italy has “seen these things” before.

“You know, Italy has seen fascism. Italy has seen these things, you guys. And you understand what happens. You have seen this before.”

“My country is in the midst of adolescence,” she continued. “Adolescence is very arrogant. Adolescence thinks it knows everything. Adolescence is naive and ignorant and arrogant. And we are in our ignorant, arrogant adolescence.”

Stone also claimed that 80 percent of Americans don’t have passports, suggesting a lack of worldly experience among voters.

Stone’s comments extended beyond the election results. She also addressed the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, asserting that “the No. 1 killer for women is men.” The actress urged “good men” to be vigilant about their friends who might be “dangerous, violent men.”

“We can’t continue to pretend that your friends are good men when they’re not good men,” she said. “And you must be very clear minded and understand that your friends who are not good men are dangerous, violent men.”

“And you have to keep them away from your daughters, your wives and your girlfriends, because this is the time when we can no longer look away, when bad men are bad.”

This isn’t the first time Stone has expressed her political views. In July, she revealed her consideration of purchasing a home in Italy, describing it as an “intelligent construct” in case Trump won re-election, per Newsweek. She criticized Trump’s campaign, stating it was “one of the first times in my life that I’ve actually seen anyone running for office on a platform of hate and oppression.”

Stone’s remarks have sparked backlash on social media, with many users labeling her as an “out-of-touch elitist.”

“Sharon Stone saying 80% of Americans don’t have a passport is the privileged, white, elitist mentality & typical of the Dems,” wrote one X user. “Most Americans can’t afford to travel abroad!!! I hate these people more & more every day! The elite, Leftists are so damn removed from reality!”

“I’m a film festival director myself – proudly apolitical – and, of course, a defender of freedom of speech. However I find these comments of #SharonStone truly disgraceful about the American people (or any people in general) said at @torinofilmfest. I would never invite her back after this,” another user wrote.

Stone’s comments come in the wake of a surprising shift in voting patterns. Exit polls suggest that a larger proportion of unmarried women voted for Trump in this election compared to 2020, defying predictions of a significant gender voting gap.

  • SOUNDS LIKE SHARON STONE IS SPREADING HER LEGS AGAIN TO LIE…..AND FRANKLY, I DON’T CARE WHAT THIS NEONIMPHO HAS TO SAY….GETTING A DEGREE IN CREATIVE WRITING I GUESS MAKES YOU A “KNOW IT ALL” WITH FLIGHTS OF FANCY AND WEARING A CROWN!

    • Somewhat crass, but I am always reminded of Pauline Karl (film critic for The New Yorker) who stated how shocked she was that Nixon won the presidential election. “No one I know voted for him.” When you have yes men (women) around you, shows how pusillanimous you are.
