Fox News’ Lisa Kennedy Montgomery just issued a “warning” for President-elect Donald Trump’s granddaughter, Kai Trump, urging her to act more like the mysterious Barron Trump.
In the whirlwind of political dynasties, Kai has emerged as a notable figure capturing public attention through her social media presence.
The 17-year-old has been making waves across digital platforms, sharing glimpses of her life amidst her family’s high-profile political landscape.
Kennedy argued in a recent op-ed for the Daily Mail that Kai ought to be careful about this, however.
“I’m begging her to strap her bedazzled iPhone to Musk’s next exploding rocket. Because she needs to get off social media – stat,” she penned.
Kai, daughter of Donald Trump Jr. and his ex-wife Vanessa, has been actively documenting her experiences on various social media channels.
From YouTube videos aboard her grandfather’s private jet to TikTok performances and Election night vlogs, Kai has been leveraging digital platforms to connect with a wide audience.
Kennedy warned about the “dangerously intoxicating” implications social media can have on youngsters, especially when it comes to “underage and impressionable” girls like Kai.
Kai’s public appearances include a memorable moment at the Republican National Convention in July, where she introduced her grandfather on stage.
Since then, she has continued to share content that provides insight into her life as a member of the Trump family.
The young Trump has been seen posting content from diverse locations, including Election night footage from her bedroom, videos from golf courses and images featuring trendy outfits.
“Millions of people have now had a peep at her bedsheets! And many of those millions are surely waiting to pounce on the slightest scent of a mistake,” Kennedy wrote.
One notable post included her posing near a Tesla Cybertruck, showcasing her engagement with contemporary social media trends.
Her social media presence has drawn significant attention, particularly given the unique position of being part of a prominent political family.
Comparisons have been made to her uncle Barron Trump, who has maintained a notably lower public profile.
“Remember when Rosie O’Donnell (‘O’ for Ozempic) vilely suggested that a 10-year-old Barron was autistic?” Kennedy cited as an example of just how disgusting media figures can be when it comes to the Trump family.
The approach to social media differs markedly among Kai and Barron, the Fox News host noted.
While Kai has been actively sharing content, her uncle Barron has remained largely out of the public eye, with minimal social media presence.
Kai’s aunt Ivanka’s past experiences in Washington have also been referenced as a potential cautionary tale about public exposure.
“Kai would be best served to take the lower profile, set the Insta to private and deep-six the TikTok,” Kennedy concluded.
“As dazzling as the spotlight can be, its red-hot glare is not worth the burns that can irreparably harm a young woman in her irreplaceable formative years.”
