Stunning Early Voting Numbers Indicate That Trump Will Win the November Election
As Americans continue to head to the polls ahead of Election Day, early voting totals reveal that former President Donald Trump is on the path to winning the 2024 presidential election, a longtime political analyst revealed on Tuesday.
“If the early vote numbers stay the way they are, and that’s a big if, we’ll almost certainly know before Election Day who’s going to win,” said Mark Halperin, the editor-in-chief of the video platform 2WAY, per the New York Post.
The 59-year-old former NBC News reporter pointed out that Trump is momentarily performing well enough in some of the battleground states to defeat Vice President Kamala Harris.
“[M]ake no mistake, if these numbers hold up in the states where we can understand even partially what the data is like, we’ll know that Donald Trump’s going to be president on Election Day,” he said.
Halperin emphasized the importance of tracking early voting polls daily, insisting that those figures are “more important than the polls right now.”
“It’s more important than almost anything because it’s giving us insight into a variety of factors that are counting for a Republican overperformance by various metrics in the early voting in the battleground states,” he argued.
Highlighting the early voting polls from Nevada’s Clark County, which is home to Las Vegas, Halperin pointed out that Democrats have typically had a massive lead, by 4,500 votes.
Referencing Monday’s reporting from the Nevada Independent, Halperin pointed out that Republicans were leading by 8,000 votes.
While Trump is leading according to the early voting polling totals, Halperin warned that it was not set in stone and could change.
“[D]on’t overread the early vote, OK? It can change,” he said. “We don’t know exactly who’s casting these ballots, how they’re voting, etc. But every analyst I’ve talked to in the last 24 hours, including people who speak publicly, say if this continues, Donald Trump can’t lose because the Democrats can’t possibly do well enough on Election Day.”
Other polls have also suggested that Trump has gained momentum while Harris continues in a downward spiral.
The latest poll from RealClearPolitics has Trump leading in all seven battleground states, even though Harris still has a slight lead in the national polls.
Trump has also gained more supporters since 2020, making strides with independent voters as well as black, Hispanic, and Arab voters.
A Fox News poll released last week produced similar results. It also revealed that Trump had gained more support from white voters.
