A woman who ran onto the field during a recent Pittsburgh Steelers game at Acrisure Stadium while waving a pro-Donald Trump sign has been identified as Instagram influencer Claudia Rose.
The game against the New York Jets, which had Donald Trump himself in attendance in the audience, was interrupted when Claudia Rose stormed the field waving a sign that read “Trump secure border, Kamala open border.” Rose was apprehended by security, allowing the game to continue.
Rose, who is described as a “MAGA influencer,” identified herself on social media to talk show host Steven Steele.
She stated that the reason why she ran onto the field was to encourage others to vote for Trump.
“I did it in the name of Jesus Christ and Donald Trump because we need to save this country,” she said to Steele.
“I don’t care if you like the guy, if you hate the guy – how was your life in 2016 versus how is it now? Stop voting with your feelings and vote with your brain,” she also said. She pointed out that Pennsylvania is a key swing state, and stated that her goal was to inspire people to register to vote.
She emphasized her concerns about Kamala Harris’ policies and encouraged voters to vote “against” Harris even if they did not want to vote for Trump.
It is unclear if Trump himself noticed Rose’s stunt, both he and Rose received applause from the fans in the stadium. An AI image posted on Trump’s social media indicated that he was cheering for the Steelers.
Former Steelers players Le’Veon Bell and Antonio Brown were also present at the stadium before the game, encouraging fans to register to vote.
Today is the last day for Pennsylvania residents to register to vote, whether in-person or online. Voter registration carried out by mail must be received today.
“Vote for yourself, vote for your family, your children. Vote for your bank account, your gas, your groceries, your rights, your freedom. Who cares if he says something offensive, vote for your freedom,” said Rose.
The Pittsburgh Police Department shared with The Daily Mail that the woman who ran onto the field will receive a summons arrest for defiant trespass in the mail, although they did not positively identify her as Rose.
Rose, who has over 55,000 followers on Instagram, frequently posts semi-nude photos of herself posing with objects such as firearms or wearing American flag bikinis, and adds captions expressing her conservative views. This is not the first pro-Trump stunt she has pulled.
Rose has previously posted a video in which she was turned away from a polling station while wearing MAGA gear, with the poll worker citing rules against allowing people wearing clothing that endorsed or expressed support towards particular candidates. Rose responded by getting MAGA tattooed on her cheek.
The tattoo was posted on Instagram, though it is unclear if it is real or not. Rose insists that it is, and subsequent Instagram posts as of this time do not clearly show the cheek that she allegedly tattooed.
The Steelers won the game 37 to 15.
