Breaking: Trump Assassination Attempt Case Gets Massive Update

Federal Prosecutors Charge Ryan Wesley Routh in Assasination Attempt on Trump

Ryan Wesley Routh has now been charged with the attempted assassination of President Donald Trump, new reports reveal.

The 58-year-old Routh will most likely be arraigned on these charges during a court appearance that will take place next week, reports ABC News.

Attorney General Merrick B. Garland said in a DOJ release that “Violence targeting public officials endangers everything our country stands for, and the Department of Justice will use every available tool to hold Ryan Routh accountable for the attempted assassination of former President Trump charged in the indictment.”

“The Justice Department will not tolerate violence that strikes at the heart of our democracy, and we will find and hold accountable those who perpetrate it,” he added, “This must stop.”

FBI Director Christopher Wray said the attack “strikes at the very heart of our democratic system” and that the FBI “is continuing [its] investigation into this alleged plot and will use the full weight and resources of the FBI to uncover and provide as much information as possible about what led to the events in West Palm Beach.”

This comes on the same day Routh’s son, Oran Routh, was arrested on allegations of possessing child pornography. Investigators reported finding “hundreds” of files containing child pornography while searching Oran Alexander Routh’s residence in Guilford County, North Carolina, on Saturday. Shortly before that, and after the attempted hi on Trump, Oran told the Daily Mail that his father hates the former president just as “every reasonable person does.”

Children 12-14 years of age were found engaging in sex acts on video files possessed by Oran, according to a complaint that was filed against him.

There are strange circumstances surrounding Ryan Wesley Routh’s past, including that he appeared in a pro-Ukranian propaganda video that was put out in support of the Azov Batallion.

Routh also wrote a book alongside his fiance that detailed why Ukraine must win in its “unwinnable war” against Russia, according to American journalist Andy Ngo.

“I must take part of the blame for the retarded child that we elected for our next president that ended up being brainless, but I am man enough to say that I misjudged and made a terrible mistake and Iran I apologize,” Routh had written.

“You are free to assassinate Trump as well as me,” he then wrote, “for that error in judgment and the dismantling of the deal. No one here in the US seems to have the balls to put natural selection to work or even unnatural selection.”

Routh, a pro-Ukraine activist, has a Biden Harris sticker on his truck at his Hawaii home, per Andy Ngo. He additionally has donated to Democrats via ActBlue at least 19 times.

Prior to his attempted assassination against Trump, Routh had been arrested over possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number, NBC News reports.
